Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze requirements from Business Analysts, Team Lead, or Product Managers.
  2. Write and execute test cases, document results, and compare with expected results. Manipulate test data along with validation of stored testing procedures.
  3. Evaluate functionality from all possible angles and be extremely sharp in coming up with relevant test cases.
  4. Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of bugs/issues for which a complaint has been received in the form of a support ticket.
  5. Attend daily Scrum meetings.
  6. Use JIRA to update the status of tasks.
  7. Acquire and understand application knowledge and the domain of the application.
  8. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
  9. Suggest new techniques and concepts to improve standards. Deal constantly with software/product development teams in the determination of software issues and relevant resolutions.

Candidate Experience:

  1. 2 to 4 years of experience.
  2. Strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA processes.
  3. Expertise in writing and executing test cases with exceptional troubleshooting skills.
  4. Ability to understand SQA processes with a passion for research and the capability to portray strong impact analysis.
  5. Test automation experience will be a huge PLUS.
  6. MUST have worked on large enterprise-grade products.
  7. Strong English communication and analytical skills.
  8. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  9. Experience with Database testing and SQL Queries.
  10. Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and tools.
  11. Experience in security testing.
  12. Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in an agile/scrum development environment.
  13. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
