We are looking for a Manager - MIS to take on a challenging managerial role in the field of computer programming and database administration. The candidate will utilize their expertise and experience to develop complex projects efficiently and with high quality for our Lahore Head Office.

Responsibilities
  • Guide the creation, design, and execution of resource plans for development tasks at the group level.
  • Interact with testers, the development team, and other stakeholders.
  • Devise effective mitigation and escalation strategies to address program risks and issues.
  • Serve as the technical and communication liaison to and from stakeholders.
  • Perform complex software/database/hardware troubleshooting, upgrades, patches, and re-installations in accordance with established SLAs.
  • Identify and deliver pre/post audit requirements.
  • Provide consulting, training, and education services such as data management and staff training/orientation.
  • Act as a resource to others to solve problems.
  • Monitor database performance and manage parameters to ensure fast responses to front-end users.
  • Map out the conceptual design for planned databases.
  • Consider both back-end data organization and front-end accessibility for users.
  • Refine logical design for translation into specific data models.
  • Write database documentation, including standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata).
  • Control access permissions and privileges at the database level.
  • Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans.
  • Ensure storage and archiving procedures function correctly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Strategic: Implement application and database technological upgrades, maintain data standards, develop DRP strategies, and facilitate new technology inductions.

Explore and pursue new programming and database administration techniques and technologies to facilitate continuous learning and career development.

Core Responsibilities
  • Possess strong techno-functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12, especially in modules such as:
  • Work in Process (WIP), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C).
  • Proficient in SQL with a focus on query optimization.
  • Experience in Oracle Forms and Reports development, customization, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on expertise in Oracle database development, including PL/SQL coding and performance optimization.
KPIs Responsibilities
  • Design program specifications: > 90%
  • Optimize source code: > 90%
  • Write source code: > 90%
  • Database management: > 90%
  • ERP management: > 90%
  • Documentation: > 90%
  • Training juniors: > 75%

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of programming experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in a leading role.
Education
  • BSCS/MSCS from a recognized university.
