Location: Karachi

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is the academic department of the University to support wide range of in-patient and outpatient care services pertinent to general obstetrics and gynaecology inlcuding lactation consultancy, family planning and parenting education. In addition to the core services, department also caters to wide range of specialised services of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynaecologic Oncology, Urogynaecology and Pediatrics & Adolescent gynaecology. The department also offers formal post graduate training programs of residency and fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynaecology and Gynaecologic Oncology.
This is a short-term grant-funded contractual position.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
- report directly to the principal investigators
- assist in designing and conducting training
- collect, clean, and analyse qualitative and quantitative data
- assist in writing research reports, manuscripts, and grant proposals
- ensure ethical and regulatory compliance in research activities
- review and develop early childhood development (ECD) content where applicable or assigned
- show willingness to work on weekends and outside regular office hours
- demonstrate comfort in working in settings with parents.
Requirements
You should have:
- a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognised institution
- at least one year of experience working in early childhood development (ECD), preferably
- completed ECD newborn educator training
- clinical experience
- proficiency in Google data management tools
- working knowledge of Canva
- proficiency in Microsoft Word
- strong communication skills.
