Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Visiting Lecturer at the Business Management and Social Sciences Department in Faisalabad. The Visiting Lecturer will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, developing course materials, assessing students, and maintaining records. The role also involves engaging with students, advising on academic matters, and participating in departmental meetings and activities.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Subject Matter: Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject being taught.
• Teaching and Instruction Skills: Experience in teaching at the college/university level, especially in the TNE sector, ability to prepare and deliver effective lectures, and develop comprehensive course materials.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Skills in assessing and evaluating student performance, maintaining accurate records, and providing constructive feedback.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively engage with students, and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Research and Professional Development: Commitment to staying updated with current developments in the field and engaging in continuous professional development.
• Familiarity with Education Technology: Proficiency in using educational technologies and learning management systems to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Organisational and Time Management: Strong organisational skills, ability to manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic academic environment.
• Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, familiarity with higher education and Transnational Education in Pakistan, and an understanding of the needs and challenges of students.
