The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) is an experienced, highly skilled healthcare professional who provides comprehensive, patient-centered care across a range of healthcare settings. This role involves advanced clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, working both independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.

  • Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe medications within the scope of practice.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.

  • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.

  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure quality outcomes.

  • Perform minor procedures as appropriate to the scope of practice and specialty area.

  • Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Monitor and follow up on patients progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and clinical research activities.

  • Provide mentorship, education, and support to nursing staff, students, and other healthcare team members.

  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, licensure requirements, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP) from an accredited nursing program.

  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in [specify state/region].

  • Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., FNP, AGNP, PNP, PMHNP).
