The role of the Assistant M&E Data Entry is to support the department in data entry tasks. S/he will also assist the M&E team with administrative duties.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

IMC's Policies, Guidelines, and Procedures

• Apply and adapt existing Global M&E Guidelines, tools, and templates throughout the project cycle.

• Promote Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) standards within IMC and among beneficiaries.

• Support the creation of a positive organizational image by adhering to the Code of Conduct, ethics, and values.

Data Entry & Management

• Ensure data flow processes and diagrams for data entry and submission are followed.

• Review data for discrepancies and correct issues.

• Check surveys for missing data.

• Perform data cleaning and entry for surveys and monitoring activities.

• Maintain records of assessments and surveys.

• Transcribe qualitative interview data.

• Enter data from registers, attendance lists, and paper-based sources into electronic formats.

M&E Administrative Support

• Assist with data collection as needed.

• Help translate reports and data.

• Support logistics and administration for workshops, trainings, surveys, and assessments.

• Upload M&E data and reports onto SharePoint regularly.

Perform other duties as assigned. The listed duties are representative and not exhaustive.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in computer science, social sciences, international development, or related field, with some experience or background in data entry. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

• 1+ years of experience with a humanitarian organization or work with refugees/IDPs in humanitarian settings.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with database entry and management.

• Good organizational, time management, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate across departments.

• Fast and accurate typing skills.

• Medium-level English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).

• High proficiency in the mission's languages: English, Pashto, Urdu.
