Description
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability decisions, using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This position ONLY involves Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT treat patients nor prescribe medication.
Licensed Psychologists will review and assess approximately 4 Veterans per day.
This role is as an Independent Contractor.
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
Requirements
- Have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
- Hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
