Role Purpose
The Education Counsellor provides excellent guidance to international students, helping them find suitable institutions that align with their educational and career goals. Responsibilities include offering accurate information on study opportunities, local education systems, culture, and geography, assisting with application documentation, facilitating enrollments, and promoting IDP products and services.

Key Accountabilities

• Achieve pipeline goals, customer satisfaction, and advocacy targets by guiding students through each stage of their journey. This includes promoting essential products and services, managing leads and applications, seeking referrals, participating in events, and maintaining the database.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to students, families, and education providers. This involves planning engagement activities, providing clear information on admissions and qualifications, and maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders.

• Experience in sales or customer service environments with a track record of meeting targets.
• Understanding of the education sector, including student placement into VET and universities, immigration requirements, and processes.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or prior experience as an Education Counsellor or similar role.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with fluency in English, both verbal and written.
