Role Overview

The Education Counselor will be responsible for processing applications, securing offer letters, and assisting students throughout the admission journey, including visa application and pre-departure preparation. As they progress in their role, they will engage in lead generation, marketing strategies, and student qualification to ensure a seamless admission process. They will also supervise Admission Officers, oversee the student enrollment journey, and collaborate with marketing and social media teams to enhance outreach. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for education, marketing, and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review and process student documents for admission.
  2. Assist in SOP writing and other application-related requirements.
  3. Liaise with universities to secure offer letters.
  4. Prepare students for CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies).
  5. Conduct mock interviews and train students for visa interviews.
  6. Guide students through the visa application process.
  7. Provide support to students until their arrival in the UK.
  8. Develop and implement strategies to strengthen marketing efforts and explore new lead generation avenues.
  9. Optimize content marketing across platforms to attract potential students.
  10. Engage with social media posts to boost interaction and visibility.
  11. Integrate social media platforms with Edulytic for lead tracking and management.
  12. Assess and qualify leads based on needs and readiness.
  13. Collect documents from prospective students for application processing.
  14. Provide initial guidance and counseling before referring students to Admission Officers.
  15. Allocate qualified leads to Admission Officers for follow-up.
  16. Oversee the admission process to ensure a smooth experience.
  17. Supervise a team of Admission Officers, ensuring efficiency.
  18. Monitor admission trends and optimize strategies accordingly.

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited institution.
  2. 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the Study Abroad Industry.
  3. Strong understanding of student counseling and admission processes.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to analyze marketing trends and optimize strategies.
  6. Proficiency in social media management and CRM tools.
