Position Overview

The Content Manager will support our organization by managing our learning content, including playbooks, SOPs, videos, and policies. This involves collaborating across departments to identify, gather, and document processes; editing and creating new content; maintaining a regular review process; and providing status reports to ensure content remains relevant and current.

What You'll Do As The Content Manager

Employees in this role must demonstrate independent thinking and decision-making abilities.

The following are the key responsibilities:

  1. Communicate effectively with contacts across different business units to foster collaboration.
  2. Manage SharePoint structure and organization for information management.
  3. Review content and policy submissions for completeness and correctness.
  4. Create, update, and report on content regularly.
  5. Maintain a list of departmental contacts and update it as needed.
  6. Create and manage project plans, including status updates, reminders, and task assignments.
  7. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  8. Maintain a solutions-oriented approach.
What You Will Bring To The Team

The following are the required experience and skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Education, or a related field.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. At least 2 years of experience in content writing, management, proofreading, and editing.
  4. Over 5 years of experience in the IT field in roles such as business analyst, sales enablement, training, or operations.
  5. Ability to collaborate across organizational levels.
  6. Expertise in SharePoint.
  7. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects independently.
  8. Knowledge of scheduling functions/training classes effectively.
  9. A strong desire to learn and excel.
  10. Team-oriented mindset.
  11. Drive to develop effective tools for the environment.
Key Results Expectations

This role is responsible for:

  1. Content retention and proper posting of new content.
  2. Establishing a routine review cycle for content.
  3. Collaborating with SMEs on content updates and enhancements.
  4. Managing the content maintenance process involving all parties.
