LocationMain Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to and support the conduction of integrated reservoir studies and their documentation to evaluate optimal field appraisal, development, and depletion scenarios (DoC/FDP) for both operated and non-operated assets.
  • Update fit-for-purpose reservoir analytical and numerical models to evaluate different development scenarios, providing production profiles and recoverable volumes for business planning and reserves reporting/booking in accordance with SPE-PRMS guidelines.
  • Maintain production profiles and categorize reserves/resources estimates for internal and external requirements and business plans.
  • Contribute to optimizing reservoir surveillance for reservoir engineering evaluations, analyze field/well performances for effective reservoir management, identify abnormalities, and recommend remedial actions for production enhancement and optimization, including development well opportunities.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams, including Exploration, Operations, Projects, and Finance, in finalizing IPP and Stage-Gate reviews.
  • Represent MOL Pakistan/Reservoir Engineering Department in technical meetings and workshops to defend reservoir engineering recommendations.
  • Mentor junior reservoir colleagues for their development and capacity building.
  • Report any accidents, near-misses, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions to line management using the STOP Card system to ensure proper incident reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of basic and advanced reservoir engineering principles.
  • Good knowledge of well operations and production engineering.
  • Experience in utilizing classical and modern reservoir engineering techniques and software for reservoir analysis.
  • Experience in log analysis, core analysis, and petrophysical evaluation. Proficiency in fluid sampling and PVT analysis of oil and retrograde condensate systems.
  • Basic knowledge of fractured reservoirs.
  • Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environment standards in the E&P industry.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, preferably with at least 4 years as a reservoir engineer in an E&P company.
