Qualification :
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field B.Com, BBA, BS Accounting.

Experience :

Experience
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience preferably in an e-commerce or retail setup.

Experience with accounting software.

Skills
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong MS Excel skills VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc..
  • Ability to work with large datasets and reconcile complex transactions.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Preferred Knowledge
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce, Daraz seller center, etc.
  • COD reconciliation knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of bank/payment gateway settlements.

Job Description :

Scents N Stories is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Executive to join our Accounts team If you have a strong grasp of accounting principles, love working with numbers, and have experience in e-commerce or retail finance, we'd love to meet you. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growing environment where your skills will directly support business operations across online platforms, retail outlets, and payment gateways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile sales from online marketplaces e.g. Daraz, , Shopify, own website.
  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in ERP/accounting software.
  • Track cash inflows from payment gateways e.g. JazzCash, Easypaisa, , Payfast, etc.
  • Prepare and verify invoices, sales reports, and payment settlements.
  • Reconcile COD partner statements e.g. Postex, Leopards, Trax, etc.
  • Maintain proper vendor ledgers and record expense invoices on time.
  • Monitor bank transactions and perform daily bank reconciliations.
  • Process supplier payments and employee reimbursements.
  • Assist in monthly closing, journal entries, and adjustment postings.
  • Support audit and compliance documentation.
