Riphah International University is seeking an experienced Account Payables Executive to oversee the financial stability of our accounts payable department. This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in finance and possess 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in accounts payable management, particularly within the real estate industry. The Account Payables Executive will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial records and supporting the organization in achieving its financial objectives. Although this position does not require managing a team, the candidate must demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with various departments and vendors, ensuring a seamless payment cycle and dispute resolution process. The role also calls for proficiency in financial reporting and the use of reconciliation tools to maintain cash flow integrity and forecast future expenditures effectively.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and agreements.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships by communicating effectively about payment discrepancies, invoice issues, and general inquiries.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting, tracking transactions, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance during the audit process.
  • Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the finance team to forecast cash flow needs based on upcoming payments and operational expenditures.
  • Stay updated on best practices in accounts payable management and adjust procedures accordingly to align with industry standards.
