FiveRivers Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience to join our AI and Data Science team. This role involves working on cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions across Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and advanced analytics. You'll be responsible for designing efficient, scalable AI systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions involving Generative AI, LLMs, VLMs, Computer Vision, Time-Series forecasting, and Data Analytics.

Build system architectures, data pipelines, algorithms, and machine learning models to solve complex business challenges based on client requirements and research.

Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and software developers to integrate and deploy AI components into scalable, production-ready solutions.

Conduct research and stay up-to-date with emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks to enhance project outcomes continually.

Perform data wrangling, data engineering, and ML model deployment in cloud or on-prem environments.

Participate in problem modeling, creative algorithm design, and efficient system implementation while maintaining strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence roles.

Proficiency in Python programming, problem-solving, and algorithm design.

Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning theories and implementations, with hands-on experience using libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers.

Practical experience in Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, including working with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and model fine-tuning.

Experience in Computer Vision, classical image processing, CNNs, Vision Transformers, and Vision-Language Models for tasks such as Image Classification, Object Detection, and Image Segmentation.

Competency in Data Wrangling, Data Engineering, Data Analysis, Statistics, and Data Visualization.

Familiarity with additional AI domains like Time-Series Analysis, Recommendation Systems, Speech Processing, Reinforcement Learning, and Image Generation is a plus.

Strong problem modeling and system design skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into AI-based solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset and a passion for staying ahead of AI advancements.
