Oracle Technical Consultant | Business Intelligence Developer | Software Project Manager

Business Smart is a UK & Lahore based technology company providing Workforce Management, ERP and BI & Analytics solutions to customers in the leisure and hospitality and the food distribution sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our Lahore office. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and capable of taking a lead role in owning the software products that are developed. The candidate must be a natural fit for working with large-scale enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

·Working with product owners to understand requirements.

·Writing Technical Specs to meet requirements.

·Extending existing Oracle APEX Applications.

·Developing new Oracle APEX Applications.

·Working closely with Test Teams to ensure quality test cases and defect management.

·Assisting the Support Team as required.

·Working with Project Managers to enable weekly progress tracking.

·Understanding of application architecture.

·Oracle Database 11g and above.

·Database development and data modeling.

·Advanced level SQL.

·Advanced level PL/SQL to write packages, triggers, dynamic SQL, etc.

·3+ years experience working with Oracle APEX & Oracle Development Tools.

·Experience in using source control software such as GIT, Perforce, or similar

·Highly organized, methodical, and strong analytical skills.

·Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

·Experience in using JIRA or similar.

·Understanding of agile/scrum methodologies.

Education:

· Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Job Location:

·This is a full-time role based out of our Johar Town offices in Lahore. Office timings are Monday to Friday 12pm-9pm.
