Role Summary

The DevOps Engineer bridges development and operations teams to streamline software delivery through automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management. Success means reducing deployment times, minimizing downtime, and enabling reliable, scalable systems. This role is critical to maintaining development velocity while ensuring production stability across the engineering organization.

Compensation

140,000 - 200,000

Responsibilities

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

Manage cloud infrastructure and containerized applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Monitor system performance and implement alerting for production environments

Automate routine operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning

Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment processes

Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate incident response

Implement security best practices across development and deployment workflows

Qualifications

3+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools

Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Understanding of networking, security, and database administration

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
