A government sector organisation is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager Finance. The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing all financial functions, including assisting in the development, performance, and maintenance of the organization's financial activities. Key duties include administrative and financial tasks such as invoicing, drafting budgets, issuing purchase orders, and overseeing procurement processes. They are also tasked with preparing monthly financial reports and filing the company's taxes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and executing financial duties and projects.
  • Preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts to ensure financial stability.
  • Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and regulatory reports.
  • Managing financial risks.
  • Setting performance targets to meet short and long-term financial objectives.
  • Compiling financial reports and supervising month-end processes.
  • Drafting procurement processes and approving purchase orders.
  • Monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reporting for the financial department.
  • Evaluating financial performance and measuring investment returns.
  • Providing financial process training to staff.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
  • Qualified ACCA.
  • Accreditation from the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
  • 2-3 years of experience in a senior financial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial management obligations, including statutory requirements.
  • Analytical thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
