Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Good clinical knowledge of emergency medicine. The candidate should possess good communication and soft skills. Additional benefits are given to those with valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  1. Lead a "quality team" of medical and nursing staff.
  2. Ensure quality care service delivery in A&E.
  3. Supervise and direct medical officers/senior medical officers on clinical issues regarding patient care.
  4. Make decisions in crises and resolve issues promptly.
  5. Communicate with the A&E team regarding management issues, especially during night shifts.
  6. Report important and urgent clinical issues to the A&E clinical head.
  7. Liaise with medical and non-medical staff within the department and other stakeholders.
  8. Implement administrative and clinical policies and SOPs.
  9. Provide medical support to team members for quick patient management.
  10. Document patient medical information in HIMS.
  11. Ensure proper handover of patients at shift changes.
  12. Maintain a professional and polite doctor-patient relationship at all times.
  13. Adhere to dress code policies as per human resources guidelines.
