Job Description:

Contrive Solutions is seeking a motivated and skilled Ruby on Rails Developer with 1–3 years of professional experience to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to work on live projects involving both backend and modern frontend technologies like Angular and ReactJS. The ideal candidate should be passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in planning, development, and deployment of new features and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing applications.
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails in a production environment.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Angular or ReactJS.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of database management using MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Awareness of unit testing and debugging tools.

Nice to Have (Bonus):

• Exposure to Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Quasar Framework.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and scalable architecture principles.
