Overview

Job Title: Mid-Level Node.js Developer
Experience Required: 2–3 Years
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Mid-Level Node.js Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining server-side applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Node.js and Nest.js, capable of designing scalable APIs, integrating with front-end applications, and managing cloud-based deployments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Nest.js.
  • Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance.
  • Work with relational databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL) ensuring data is managed securely.
  • Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
  • Contribute to project documentation and participate in agile processes (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Manage and optimize cloud deployments on AWS and DigitalOcean.
  • Work with microservices architecture and message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
  • Understand and apply containerization using Docker and basic DevOps practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in Node.js and preferably Nest.js.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
  • Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and RabbitMQ.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and basic DevOps tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, debugging expertise, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
