We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laravel PHP Developer with a strong backend focus to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Laravel development, possess strong backend skills, and be knowledgeable in REST API development, integrations, and WordPress plugin development.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the Laravel PHP framework.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  3. Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between different systems.
  4. Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality and user experience.
  5. Develop custom WordPress plugins to extend and customize the WordPress CMS platform.
  6. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
  7. Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform testing, and optimize application performance.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in PHP development, REST API development, integrations, and WordPress plugin development.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  2. Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in Laravel PHP development.
  3. Strong backend development skills with a deep understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework.
  4. Extensive knowledge and experience in REST API development and integration.
  5. Proven experience in developing custom WordPress plugins.
  6. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) is desirable.
  7. Experience with database management and optimization, particularly with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
  8. Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
  10. Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  11. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of other PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, CodeIgniter) is a plus.
  2. Familiarity with automated testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
  3. Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  4. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deployment processes.
  5. Knowledge of front-end build tools and preprocessors (e.g., Webpack, Sass).
