Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent degree is preferred.

Skill Set

Test Automation Engineer should have working experience in:

  • Hands-on automation experience with tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Experience with automation frameworks; CI/CD experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and related procedures.
  • Understanding of testing protocols.
  • Knowledge of different testing methods such as white box and black box testing.
  • Familiarity with the software development process.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Engineer should have the following responsibilities:

  • Writing automation scripts and preparing quality test scenarios and data.
  • Executing test automation suites.
  • Analyzing test reports and highlighting application issues.
  • Collaborating with the lead to resolve application faults.
  • Tracking bugs found during automation and following up on resolutions.
  • Participating in automation-related training sessions.
