Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Agile Product Owner role located in Lahore at NexaQuanta. The Agile Product Owner will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of AI-powered solutions for clients, working closely with AI Business Strategists, Architects, and Software Developers. The day-to-day tasks include defining and prioritizing product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality AI solutions.

The Product Owner will play a key role in ensuring future product work is well refined, prioritised and ready for our cross functional development teams to deliver effectively. You will own the backlog and support the team with issues and blockers, whilst bringing in the voice of the customer. You'll be in constant contact with the Product Manager, Head of Product and the wider business to maintain a smooth release of new features and products. A solid understanding of APIs, data transfer methods and experience working on product integrations with third-party systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders and colleagues, such as developers and designers, to ensure a common understanding of objectives and priorities for the Scrum team
• Take the lead within the Scrum team as the Product Owner
• Ensure the team has adequately defined and prepared tasks for the sprints
• Plan and prioritise product backlogs
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure feasibility and delivery of the roadmap - moving from long to near term
• Develop and prioritise stories and epics to ensure work is focused on items which are aligned with the product roadmap
• Define acceptance criteria and break down deliverables into user stories to ensure they meet business and quality standards
• Lead on the detail of release plans, set expectations for delivery and be prepared with excellent documentation
• Play an active role in mitigating any blockers to the successful delivery of sprints
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices for Agile/Scrum working

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience working as agile Product Owner and Technical Business Analyst, ideally in complex, Agile environments, including identifying and documenting business requirements and managing software project delivery using Agile methodologies.
• Experience in designing and implementing Business Processes and ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (both Scrum and Kanban) and hands-on experience in Agile project delivery as a Product Owner for SaaS, Web, and mobile applications.
• Proficient in using JIRA for Agile project management and collaboration for both Scrum and Kanban projects. Experience of creating different types of Jira tickets (Epics, Stories, Tasks, etc.) to effectively manage the projects.
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
• Ability to inspire and motivate others
• Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge and experience of mobile apps, iOS, Android and React Native would be highly desirable
• Experience in the automotive software industry is desirable, not necessarily required
• Proficiency with tools such as Productboard, Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar.
• Communication: writes clearly and concisely, speaks effectively and listens attentively
• Interpersonal Skills: enthusiastic with a can-do attitude, works well with others, supportive, motivates and cooperates with others
• Organisational Skills: punctual and attentive, high levels of attention to detail
• Problem Analysis: ability to understand the main problem, identify the potential causes and propose solutions
• Teamwork: ability to participate and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the information systems throughout the organisation
• Knowledge of AI technologies and principles is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
