Job Summary:

Seeking an SEO Content Writer responsible for creating content that ranks well in search engines and also encourages clicks, engagement, and sales. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in English, experienced with keyword research tools (such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest), and capable of producing clear, persuasive copy for product pages, blogs, category descriptions, and more.

Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Write, edit, and optimize high-quality content for eCommerce platforms, including product descriptions, category pages, landing pages, and blog articles.
  • Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, etc.
  • Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to align content with search intent, seasonal trends, and campaign goals.
  • Craft persuasive, benefit-driven copy that reflects brand voice while incorporating SEO best practices.
  • Implement on-page SEO elements: headings, internal linking, meta descriptions, alt text, etc.
  • Monitor content performance and make data-driven recommendations for updates or improvements.
  • Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes, content trends, and SEO tools to keep strategies current.

Education and Experience:

  • 2–3+ years of experience in SEO content writing, preferably in eCommerce.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a strong grasp of grammar, style, and brand tone.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and on-page optimization techniques.
  • Experience with keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like Shopify, Magento, WordPress, or similar.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML or content formatting for SEO.
