SCR Scholarship Program

SCR is proud to be family owned and operated for over 60 years. We value our team members and strive to be the Midwest's premier family-owned and operated mechanical and refrigeration company. We are offering HVAC/R & Plumbing Scholarships

Qualified students should be:

  1. Enrolled in or in the process of enrolling in an approved/applicable program (we can provide application school options if needed):
  • HVAC
  • HVAC/R
  • Plumbing

Additional requirements include:

  • Ability to show initiative, deduction, mechanical ability, and academic achievement
  • Recipients must work for two years post-college graduation at one of SCR's locations (St. Cloud, Rochester, Baxter, or Mankato).

Work Experience:

Participants in the SCR Scholarship Program have the option to gain part-time and/or summer paid work experience at SCR while enrolled and participating in an approved program.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Valid class D driver's license
  • Hours will vary depending on the student's availability and SCR's needs.
