About the Role

We're excited to announce an opportunity for a IT Senior Manager to be a part of our expanding team in Pakistan As we grow both steadily and swiftly, we're embarking on numerous new projects. For these ventures, we require an enthusiastic individual who is fired up by creating a scalable & fit-for-purpose tech stack which can transition from a medium to large sized company.

Please note that this role will be situated at our office in Lahore (Upper Mall), working on-site from Monday-Thursday, with Friday being an optional WFH day. The normal working hours will be 10am - 7pm PKT.

About You

As a IT Senior Manager at Mous, you'll work collaboratively with our Finance, Commercial & Data teams. You will report directly to Steve McMeikan, our Managing Director. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, playing a crucial role in driving our projects to successful completion with precision and efficiency.

• Own the back-end enterprise tech stack.
  • Strategy & architecture
  • Get to know in detail & document the "as is" software & integrations, including ERP, Shopify, & FreshDesk (Customer Service platform).
  • Establish a vision for the "to be" stack architecture, aligned with Mous' business strategy.
  • Establish a roadmap to bridge the "as is" & "to be" stacks.
    • Day-to-day management
    • Keep the lights on (database management). Conduct and automate regular data accuracy checks. Ensure systems & integrations are functioning correctly, liaising with our external ERP developers where required to troubleshoot issues. Develop structured process maps, simplifying data interpretation and use.
    • Keep the lights on (systems integration). Oversee the integration and management of various systems including PowerBI, Shopify, Amazon, Freshdesk.
    • Enhancement projects. Lead projects to optimise data flow and integrity between different platforms, focusing on practical improvements and efficiencies.
    • Transformation projects. Lead projects to step-change our business & support our growth (e.g. upgrading to a better ERP system).
      • Governance
      • Own software contracts with ~£100k budget.
      • Ensure data complies with regulation, e.g. GDPR.
        • Create robust cybersecurity policies & controls.
          • Validate existing policies & establish new ones where necessary.
          • Ensure adequate controls are in place to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
          • Train & enable the broader organisation (where necessary).
            • Own end-user computing.
              • Own the asset log for laptops.
              • Approve purchase, and track software licenses for the organisation.

• Good: You'll be the go-to person to discuss our tech stack. You will keep the lights on with our existing stack & ensure it doesn't become a bottleneck to Mous' growth. You will ensure reasonable controls & cost management.
  • Great: You will be a key enabler for the business. Your tech stack will unlock operational efficiencies & data will enable analytics/insight which drives growth. You will be a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring we have the right technology platforms to realise the business' full growth potential.

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication.

• Ability to switch between strategic planning and tactical execution - this is a leadership role which also involves doing hands-on work.
