Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will process complex sets of data into our Claim Management tool ensuring its completeness and accuracy by running manual and automated checks and monitoring the effectiveness of upstream controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data processing on a timely basis into the Company Claim Management tool and to a high level of accuracy working with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate monthly insurance reports and weekly internal reports to support business operations.
  • Analyze operational performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain KPI tracking tools to monitor performance across various teams, including supply chain, customer service, and finance.
  • Ensure data integrity and governance by maintaining accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Automate recurring reports and manual processes using DBT, SQL, and Python.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Process documentation and challenge underlying / upstream operational process

Must-Have Skills:

  • Ability to understand complex datasets and expertise in data quality and what good looks like Data quality expertise
  • Good communication skills working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and
  • derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation (Pandas, NumPy).
  • Experience working with large datasets to identify trends, forecasts, and insights.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
  • Experience using DBT for efficient data transformation and modelling.
  • Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Understanding of how data flows in end-to-end reporting framework.
  • Strong Excel skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Knowledge of API integrations for data extraction.
  • Understanding machine learning concepts and statistical modelling.
