ZIHMS | Service Providers are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented DME Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of billing processes for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), including claims submission, denial management, and insurance follow-ups. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate billing for our clients in the healthcare space.

1. Submit clean and accurate DME claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
2. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and take appropriate action to resolve billing issues
3. Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
4. Review and ensure accurate documentation for medical necessity
5. Work with providers and internal teams to collect and correct missing or incomplete information
6. Post payments and reconcile accounts
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer guidelines and billing compliance

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in DME billing
2. Strong knowledge of HCPCS codes, modifiers, and insurance billing guidelines
3. Experience working with billing software
4. Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and private payer policies
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
