Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering (01 post)

Consolidated Pay / month Rs. 104,000/- – 211,250/-

**Eligibility Criteria**

Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution, with excellent written communication and presentation skills.

Professor in Chemistry (01 post)

Consolidated Pay / month Rs. 234,000/- – 405,600/-

**Eligibility Criteria**

Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized and reputable institution in the relevant field, with either 11 years post-Ph.D. experience or a minimum of 7 years of post-PhD experience plus at least 12 years of total experience prior to PhD. Experience should include teaching/research at recognized universities, postgraduate institutions, or professional experience in national/international organizations. Additionally, 15 research publications (with at least 5 in the past 5 years) in internationally recognized journals are required for appointment on the Tenure Track.

Instructions
  • The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the university's website (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk/) and submitted with a demand draft of Rs. 700/- in favor of Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad. Applicants requesting the form by post should send a written request with a self-addressed large envelope and Rs. 30/- postage stamps. Completed forms must be supported with attested copies of educational testimonials, ID card, two recent photographs, and an updated CV.
  • Applicants from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper with a recent CV, attested copies of degrees/testimonials, and experience certificates.
  • Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
  • The university reserves the right to reject any application or not fill the post without reason.
  • Applications should be submitted in triplicate for Assistant Professor and quadruplicate for Professor.
  • Candidates already employed must apply through proper channels by the deadline.
  • Complete applications must reach the Recruitment Section, Registrar Office, Government College University, Faisalabad, by mail no later than 12.11.2013.
