Position Purpose

To support the successful execution of IT and cross-functional projects by assisting in planning, coordination, documentation, communication, and monitoring activities. The role ensures alignment with organizational goals, timely delivery of deliverables, adherence to standards, and continuous improvement through structured project management support.

Job Description

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of ongoing IT projects.
  • Help maintain project schedules, documentation, and status reports.
  • Communicate project updates to internal teams and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with departments and vendors to gather information and support deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Track tasks and deadlines using project management tools (e.g., Trello, JIRA, MS Project).
  • Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes.
  • Assist with project meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Contribute to post-project reviews and documentation of lessons learned.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure all technology solutions meet business requirements, security standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Document project deliverables, reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and suggesting process enhancements.

Experience and Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an IT, administrative, or coordination role (internships acceptable).
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • A keen interest in IT project delivery and digital solutions.

Specific Requirements

  • Exposure to Agile or Waterfall project environments.
  • Certification or training in project management (e.g., CAPM, Agile Fundamentals) is a plus.
  • Problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience managing software implementation, infrastructure, or ERP projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity practices, and enterprise systems.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
