Job Title: Accountant - Part time

Location: Peco Road, Lahore

Employment Type: Part-Time / Contract

Onsite Meetings: 4-6 times a month

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Accountant to manage our financial records, tax filings, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate should preferably have experience working with software houses and be familiar with the unique financial and tax needs of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Handle income and sales tax return filing and other statutory compliance
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when necessary
  • Maintain and update financial records accurately
  • Provide support in budget preparation and forecasting
  • Attend 4-6 onsite meetings per month for reporting and discussion
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a software house environment
  • Strong understanding of Pakistan's tax laws, financial regulations, and return filing procedures
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, or any local ERP system)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of payroll processing
  • Familiarity with invoicing systems used in IT/software businesses
