Job Overview

We are seeking a Professional Content Writer fluent in both English and Dutch, with a strong understanding of SEO principles and a flair for writing compelling web and blog content. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, a creative mindset, and the ability to adapt tone and style to various industries and audiences. You will play a critical role in enhancing our online presence and content marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and edit SEO-optimized content in English and Dutch for websites, landing pages, blogs, and product/service descriptions.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply best SEO practices to boost content visibility and ranking.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and web development teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice and campaign goals.
  • Translate and localize English content to Dutch (and vice versa) while maintaining clarity, cultural relevance, and engagement.
  • Conduct competitor and industry research to generate fresh and targeted content ideas.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
  • Manage multiple writing projects with tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluency in both English and Dutch (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional content writing experience, preferably in a digital marketing or agency setting.
  • Solid understanding of SEO content writing strategies and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Yoast).
  • Proven portfolio of published content in both languages.
  • Ability to write for diverse industries and audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow) is a plus.
