BIM Modeler

Our sister company in Pakistan, Advanced BIM, is seeking a full-time, on-site BIM Modeler to join our team in Rawalpindi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed BIM models for construction projects across the Middle East and Europe. A competitive salary package will be offered based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Modeling & Documentation

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models, ensuring they reflect the latest design updates.
• Extract 2D drawings (floor plans, sections, and details) for documentation.
• Create and manage a library of Revit families in line with project standards.
• Regularly update models based on design revisions and stakeholder feedback.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate with multiple disciplines to resolve conflicts.
• Export Navisworks (.NWC) files as per agreed project timelines.
• Work closely with BIM Leads, Managers, and Modellers to ensure consistency in modeling workflows.
• Attend coordination meetings with design and construction teams to align models with project requirements.
• Assist in generating shop drawings, schedules, take-offs, red-line drawings, and as-built drawings in collaboration with engineering, construction, and QA/QC teams.
• Provide on-site support as needed to address construction-related model issues.

Data Management & Standards

• Input and manage project-specific data within BIM models for analysis and simulation.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project protocols, and industry best practices (e.g., BS EN ISO 19650).
• Maintain proper document control, including revision tracking and SharePoint folder management.
• Stay updated with advancements in BIM technologies, tools, and industry mandates.
• Recommend improvements to BIM workflows and modeling efficiencies.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the project team.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies during modeling activities.

Training & Support

• Provide technical support to project teams, addressing BIM-related queries and challenges.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in MEP Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM modeling, with a focus on MEP systems.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, and other BIM software.
• Strong expertise in MEP workshop drawings and model accuracy.
• Familiarity with MEP modeling standards and best practices.
• Experience in Data Centre projects is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
