Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven Video Editor specializing in planning and post-production to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and editing video content. This role focuses on the pre-production and post-production phases of video creation, with an emphasis on storytelling, editing techniques, and project management rather than camera operation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Development and Planning: Develop creative concepts and storyboards, create shot lists and production plans, collaborate with clients, manage timelines, and coordinate filming teams.
  2. Content Editing: Edit raw footage, apply color correction, sound design, visual effects, incorporate graphics, text, music, and review footage quality.
  3. Project Management: Ensure deliverables meet standards, manage digital assets, track timelines, and communicate updates.
  4. Technical Production: Use editing software, apply techniques suitable for different styles, ensure quality, and stay updated with new technologies.
  5. Quality Control & Improvement: Review projects, incorporate feedback, identify process improvements, and document workflows.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of editing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Audition, DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong storytelling and pre-production planning skills.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Creative vision and attention to detail.
  • Portfolio showcasing editing skills.
Additional Details:

Timing: 8 pm to 12 am

Position: Part-time (Hybrid)

Location: The Enterprise Building, near Thokar, Multan Road Lahore
