Lead Manager IT Audit - Technical Operations

Job Details:

Qualification & Experience:

MS Computer Science, MS IT, or MCS from HEC recognized university with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or BS/BCS with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Candidate must have at least 4 years of relevant experience as a Functional/Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

Job Summary: Support senior management in conducting annual audits to assess internal controls, identify ineffective practices, and recommend improvements. Assist in preparing internal audit reports for operational processes and functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Support development of annual risk-based internal audit plan for technical operations.
  2. Participate in audit planning meetings to understand risks and define roles.
  3. Prepare pre-audit presentations for management.
  4. Assist in identifying risks and controls, and prepare audit programs.
  5. Ensure risk assessments and audit plans are in place.
  6. Perform audit fieldwork according to the plan, executing procedures and tests.
  7. Document controls and test their effectiveness, ensuring quality standards.
  8. Conduct risk-based operational audits to maximize performance and control.
  9. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and standards such as ISO.
  10. Audit physical operations including Cathodic Protection, ROW, DI shop, and pipeline rehabilitation.
  11. Evaluate operational policies for risk and establish mitigating controls.
  12. Monitor audit processes to ensure thoroughness with minimal disruption.
  13. Develop understanding of activities, risks, and controls for audit quality.
  14. Assess compliance and document findings accurately.
  15. Prepare audit reports and submit for review and approval.
  16. Monitor KPIs and recommend improvements.
  17. Work with departments to implement audit recommendations and follow up.
  18. Identify and communicate risks from audit observations.
  19. Ensure compliance with Enterprise Risk Management Framework and company policies.
  20. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
