Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Website Developer to design, develop, and launch a robust e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end expertise in domain acquisition, website planning, inventory integration, database management, SEO optimization, and traffic generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Domain & Hosting Setup:
    Secure and register a domain name aligned with our brand.
    Set up reliable hosting with optimal speed and security.
  2. Website Planning & Development:
    Design a structured, visually appealing e-commerce website with intuitive navigation.
    Develop a responsive, mobile-friendly interface using modern frameworks (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, or custom CMS).
    Integrate an inventory management system to display 1,000+ products with categories, filters, and search functionality.
  3. Database & Backend Development:
    Build a scalable database to manage product details, customer data, orders, and transactions.
    Implement secure payment gateways (e.g., JazzCash, EasyPaisa, credit/debit cards).
  4. Traffic Generation:
    Develop strategies to increase website visibility (social media marketing, email campaigns, content marketing).
    Monitor analytics (Google Analytics, SEMrush) to refine performance.
  5. Testing & Launch:
    Ensure cross-browser compatibility, security, and performance.
    Train staff to manage the website post-launch.

Qualifications:

  1. Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP/Python, and CMS platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify).
    Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and APIs (payment gateways, logistics).
    Expertise in SEO tools (Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console).
    Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
  2. Experience:
    3–5 years in e-commerce website development and SEO.
    Portfolio of live websites with demonstrated success in traffic/sales growth.
  3. Soft Skills:
    Strong project management and communication skills.
    Ability to meet deadlines and troubleshoot technical issues.
  4. Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
    Certifications in web development, digital marketing, or SEO are preferred.
