Responsibilities:

  1. Work on the dynamics of Material Resource Planning (MRP) and its impact on purchases and planned purchase actions on a weekly basis.
  2. Source and procure materials in the most cost-effective and time-efficient manner to meet organizational needs.
  3. Ensure compliance with company standards on purchasing policies and procedures.
  4. Plan and coordinate timely delivery of purchases to meet on-time delivery requirements.
  5. Participate in material review and ensure material issues are elevated and resolved in a timely manner.
  6. Actively participate in continuous improvement programs and take initiative to enhance the material planning process.

Requirements:

  1. At least 8 years of experience in materials procurement and vendor management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  2. General understanding of metal commodity price trends is an advantage.
  3. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.
