Job SpecificationThe SEO Manager needs to understand full circle SEO relationships and how to create, maintain, and execute against a keyword strategy across a range of technologies and applications. The SEO Manager needs to bring a mixture of technical, creative, and strategic skills to a tight-knit team who work together to achieve the singular purpose of search engine domination.
- Knowledge of white hat SEO methods and best practices.
- Creation, ownership, and maintenance of keyword strategy.
- Managing reciprocal link exchange programs and directory submissions.
- Managing submission and optimization of paid search (keyword, ad copy & bids).
- Strong analytical skills, i.e., the ability to analyze results to determine key findings.
- Monitoring SEO and paid search online conversions to ensure effectiveness of team members and strategy to ensure maximization of search visibility.
- Basic programming and web design knowledge, and how it affects SEO is desirable.
- Implementing code changes and enhancements to key (owned and earned) assets to ensure the highest ranking possible.
- Define, document, and implement best practices for SEO analysis and reporting, and provide guidance for and monitoring of ethical standards of SEO.
