Job summary

We're a fast-growing regulatory technology company on a mission to help financial institutions achieve accurate regulatory reporting. We're looking for motivated and experienced data analysts to join our team to work onsite. The roles will involve data analysis and some solutions development, with plenty of room to develop your skills and experience. You will be exposed to a variety of trade reporting regulations, providing an opportunity to build a comprehensive understanding within this niche space.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct detailed analysis across various data sources, producing timely and concise results.
2. Execute and oversee test runs on client data.
3. Perform data ingestion, manipulation, and cleansing.
4. Potentially liaise with clients to understand their data and business requirements.
5. Write detailed and clear reports for clients and internal use.
6. Understand trade regulations to innovate our services.
7. Collaborate with analysts and developers to create reliable, scalable data solutions.
8. Analyze data issues or queries raised by clients and coordinate responses.
9. React promptly to problems, ensuring minimal service disruption.
10. Support the Data Specialist, Delivery Manager, and team leaders in client engagements.
11. Uphold high standards of data security following Kaizen's policies.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

1. Proficiency or degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience). Knowledge of software development processes.
2. Excellent problem-solving skills and common sense.
3. Comfort and expertise with data analysis.
4. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a good work ethic.
5. Ability to analyze complex datasets comprehensively.
6. Good communication skills, detail-oriented.
7. Experience with programming languages such as Python or SQL.
8. Comfortable in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
