HR Generalist

Position Title: HR Generalist – Operations (Contract Based)

As an HR Generalist, you will provide end-to-end HR support to professionals and associate-level employees. The incumbent will work towards implementing HR initiatives to drive Ingredion values and embed an inclusive company culture through various employee engagement activities. The HR Generalist will proactively support employee wellbeing and provide assistance across employee lifecycle activities, including Performance Management and Headcount management. This role reports to the Director HR.

• Performance Management – Provide end-to-end support to internal stakeholders during annual performance reviews. Deliver refresher sessions to employees to support effective use of the performance management system for goal setting, career development, and performance feedback.
• People & Capability Review – Facilitate the annual People & Capability process by identifying themes and trends, support business leaders in creating robust development plans to meet succession and team development needs. Leverage human capital metrics to monitor talent pipelines and support the development of key talent. Foster accountability for successors and future leaders' development and ensure execution of plans to retain high-potential talent.
• New Hire Onboarding – Support end-to-end coordination for new joiner onboarding (professionals and associates). Develop detailed orientation plans, prepare organizational communications, and identify a functional buddy in collaboration with stakeholders. Debrief new joiners about HR processes and ensure the employee has the required assets and a smooth onboarding experience.
• Employee Engagement Initiatives – Provide proactive support in organizing international and regional events (e.g., CEO Awards, Talent Meet, Powerhouse Awards) and global initiatives (World Environment Day, International Women's Day). Organize local events including long-service awards, Eid, Christmas, and Year-End celebrations to enhance employee experience.
• Organizational Effectiveness & Development – Support structural improvements and functional reorganization to align with business strategy. Collaborate with Head of HR and HRBPs for talent development and retention.
• HR Operations – Collaborate with HR operations to ensure timely delivery of HR reports and to resolve Workday queries. Promote participation in HR programs such as Employee Climate Survey and Annual Performance Review.
• HR Initiatives – Support action plans identified from Listen Survey, build timelines to achieve targets, and lead initiatives like Quarterly CEO Townhalls & Monthly Coffee Sessions with Pakistan Leadership Team to enhance employee experience.
• Learning Initiatives – Support employee development through Talent Academy and guide stakeholders to maximize impact of this learning initiative.
• Cultural Transformation – Represent HR on local, regional, and corporate platforms and liaise to ensure company values are embedded at all sites.

• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Human Resources or Management Sciences
• 4 to 6 years of experience
