Job Title: Assistant Manager – Finance & Taxation

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Department: Finance

Reporting To: Manager Finance / Head of Finance

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Finance & Taxation to support and manage the financial and taxation functions of our distribution business. The candidate will assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for effective financial operations.

Key Responsibilities: Finance:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Assist in cost analysis, margin monitoring, and profitability reporting.
• Maintain financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/IAS).
• Liaise with consultants and support annual returns.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations. Taxation:
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax).
• Manage tax notices, correspondence, and audits from FBR with consultants.
• Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.

Qualifications & Experience:
• ACCA / CA Inter / ICMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a distribution, FMCG, or trading company.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax laws and regulatory environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or customized solutions).
• Advanced MS Excel skills and financial modeling.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and taxation practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Salary: Market Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)
