Job Description:

GTechSources is seeking a talented and experienced 3D Illustrator & Vector Artist with 3+ years of experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in producing high-quality medical illustrations, combining traditional hand-drawing techniques with modern digital tools. You will work closely with the design team to create accurate, detailed, and visually engaging artwork for educational and commercial use.

Responsibilities:

  • Create fully rendered, anatomically accurate medical illustrations
  • Design layouts that incorporate illustrations, labels, and supporting graphics
  • Produce a high volume of illustrations efficiently without compromising quality
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team lead
  • Research anatomical structures (especially animal bones) and apply appropriate color theory to ensure scientific accuracy
  • Prepare initial drafts based on project briefs and requirements
  • Combine traditional hand-drawing or painting with digital media to produce final artwork
  • Refine artwork using illustration and image-editing software
  • Utilize color, graphic effects, and textures to enhance conceptual visuals
  • Apply isometric illustration techniques to add depth and dimension to complex shapes
  • Participate in client or internal design briefings to understand goals and requirements
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and budget constraints
  • Ensure all illustrations meet professional print and color quality standards
  • Brainstorm with the design team to develop new ideas, concepts, and styles
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and tools in illustration and digital design

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a 3D Illustrator and/or Vector Artist
  • Strong portfolio showcasing completed illustrations, including medical or scientific artwork
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Excellent drawing and digital sketching skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of color theory, anatomy, and scientific accuracy
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
