Job title — English Language Expert

Summary

We are looking to hire a skilled and experienced candidate for the job position of English language expert who possesses expertise in the areas of thoroughly researching sources, planning content, and then managing multiple formally written articles by reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and proofreading them. Our goal is to publish content that is exquisite in terms of writing, correct in terms of the information provided, engaging in terms of sentence structuring, and better in terms of format than our competitors. Our focus is on quality.

Duties

1. Content planning through the detailed analysis of provided sources.
2. Coordination and liaising with team members/supervisors in the process of forwarding article descriptions/prompts and approval of the content received.
3. Analysis of the sentence structure, grammatical factors, spelling, wording choice, and information provided in the articles.
4. Highlighting errors found in the content/articles received after thoroughly implementing quality assurance methods and techniques.
5. Sharing detailed feedback of the different writers providing the content/articles with the supervisors/team leaders.
6. Liaising with the graphic designing team members to get infographics prepared for publication.
7. Preparation of brief content for the infographics of each of the tasks assigned.
8. Making significant contributions in terms of improvement suggestions or areas of benefit to the organization.

Experience required

The minimum relevant work experience required is of 1-2 years; working as a proofreader, teacher, professor, or editor.

Additional relevant certification

Any additional relevant certification(s) and/or significant publication/achievement will be significantly noted and considered.

Type of shift

The recruit will be expected to report and work onsite/in the office premises. The option to work remotely is not offered.

Expected working days and hours

The recruit will be expected to work Monday to Friday, from 9-4 pm in Winters and 9-5 pm in Summers.
