What You'll Do

As an experienced Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in providing accounting services for Pakistan entities and be part of the team based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Key areas of responsibility includes:

  1. Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reporting and risk identification
  2. Account reconciliations and resolving reconciliation items
  3. Completing Flux analysis
  4. Month end closing tasks
  5. Completing bridge between USGAAP - Local GAAP - Tax GAAP
  6. Prepare Statutory Accounts for your assigned countries
  7. Manage Statutory Audit
  8. Ensure all adjustments are submitted and processed in a timely manner
  9. Researching and resolving accounting issues for your assigned country
  10. Complete ownership of legal entity matters, including statutory accounts, internal and external audit, supporting tax compliance
  11. Continuous review of processes for improvement opportunities and effective control environment
  12. Collaboration and support to other departments including Tax, Legal, HR, CRE, Business unit
  13. Actively participate in corporate initiatives, including process improvement, new system implementation, acquisitions, through country specific and discipline specific knowledge
  14. Close coordination with shared services center teams (FA, IC, GL, AR, AP)

  1. You will be working closely with the Team leader and the other team members with the day-to-day tasks of the accounting department.
  2. You will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely accounting information. This will often involve close collaboration with other specialized departments and stakeholders.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
  1. CA/ICMA/ACCA Qualified/Part Qualified
  2. Proven experience (8+ years) in reputed organizations including MNC
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
