Android Developer

blueEX is looking for motivated and energetic Android developers.
The candidate will work on high visibility consumer applications within our Technology Division, focusing on internal and client-specific projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in Web and/or mobile application development.
- At least 1-year experience in Kotlin.
- Knowledge of architecture patterns like MVVM, MVC.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with external data sources and APIs.
- Write unit tests to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability.
- Fix bugs and improve application performance.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
- Develop applications with geo-centric features such as location check-in, geo-fencing, and location-based searches.
- Detect and correct memory usage issues and optimize code for performance.
Other Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Android software development.
- Published at least one original Android app.
- Experience with Android SDK, REST, JSON, third-party libraries, and APIs.
- Understanding of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
Note: Experience with applications involving geo-centric features is preferred.
