Job Description
  • Safely provide immunization to infants, children, and adults according to formal protocols and schedule
  • Ensure the availability of adequate quantities of vaccines
  • Maintain the cold chain for the vaccines
  • Monitor the quantity and expiry date of all vaccines
  • Inform the Supervisor (PHI) to reorder the vaccine supplies at least 2 weeks in advance
  • Responsible for the correct use and care of all electronic equipment (Android phone, laptop, tabs) and medical supplies used by the team in the program
  • Administer the correct vaccines with the correct dosage to children according to EPI protocols
  • Follow strict infection control measures and ensure they are followed by the vaccination program team
  • Maintain a stock register of vaccines and ensure the daily register and permanent register of the EPI program are maintained properly
  • Collect the program data on given templates
  • Make phone calls to children's parents/caregivers for follow-up visits
  • Troubleshoot and support all areas of programmatic work as required
  • Any other task requested by the supervisor (PHI)
