What you will do

• Use your deep functional understanding to contribute to the business design for the product.
• Contribute to defining the product roadmap and support end-to-end delivery of product releases & communication with different stakeholders.
• Build software products for banking and financing institutions with R&D teams that are openly collaborative, non-hierarchical, respect contributions, and work with agility.
• Enable, empower, and encourage teams for continuous improvement of functional and domain understanding.
• Challenge and support people and engineering practices to improve the quality of the product.
• Support governance of the product team to ensure quality and efficiency of solutions.
• Act as a mentor to the team and reinforce organizational values and culture.

Total Experience Expected: 14-18 years

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent additional professional experience.
• Hands-on experience in delivering banking solutions from concept to production with a deep understanding of Core Banking operations, CASA management, interest calculation methods, general ledger operations, and clearing and settlement.
• Well-versed with major customer journeys in the Core banking domain.
• Experience as a functional expert/SME for the Core banking system.
• 10+ years of industry experience in design, development, operations, and managing functional perspectives of solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Visualize end-to-end use cases and landscapes – define scope, interactions/integrations of different services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders – Product Management team, assertiveness, arbitrations.
• Exposure to Microservices-based architecture, understanding and defining non-functional requirements; experience with new product development based on a distributed architecture.
• Hands-on with Open API Specification, ability to define APIs.
• Agile organization exposure, working with the team in clarifying user needs and prioritizing and planning of scope.
• Good understanding of building Product Roadmaps, Release Plans, etc.
