Reporting To: Sales Manager / Credentialing Lead
Position Overview:We're hiring Credentialing Sales Executives / Specialists with a passion for both client engagement and healthcare operations. This is a role where you'll be responsible for selling credentialing services to providers as well as helping it onboard. Candidates with 2–3 years of experience in credentialing, medical billing, or healthcare sales are encouraged to apply.
You'll play a key role in bringing new credentialing projects on board, guiding clients through credentialing requirements, and supporting backend operations to ensure smooth delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Client Engagement- Conduct outbound sales calls to healthcare providers (solo practitioners, groups, clinics, etc.) to promote credentialing services.
- Handle inbound inquiries and convert them into credentialing opportunities.
- Communicate the scope and benefits of our credentialing services (e.g., CAQH setup, NPI, PECOS, payer enrollment).
- Follow up with prospects regularly via phone, email, and CRM tools to move them through the sales pipeline.
- Prepare and send quotes/proposals, collect documents, and support initial onboarding of new clients.
- Work closely with the sales manager to meet weekly and monthly credentialing sales targets.
- Assist in gathering and verifying necessary documentation for credentialing applications.
- Coordinate with internal credentialing teams to ensure accuracy in forms, timelines, and requirements.
- Help maintain credentialing databases, spreadsheets, and CRM systems for project tracking.
- Support providers with basic credentialing queries and updates (e.g., re-credentialing, CAQH attestation).
- Participate in the maintenance of internal credentialing process documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- 2–3 years of experience in credentialing, medical billing, sales, or client-facing roles within healthcare.
- Understanding of U.S. healthcare credentialing processes (CAQH, NPI, PECOS, payer enrollments).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making calls, handling objections, and managing follow-ups.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and documentation skills.
- Experience in a U.S. medical billing or credentialing BPO environment.
- Previous experience capturing credentialing projects or working with U.S.-based healthcare clients.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
