Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Understand front-end and back-end technologies, including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and APIs.
  2. Design and develop responsive websites using web standards and user experience best practices; create user interfaces for websites and web applications.
  3. Program websites, mobile sites, intranets, email marketing campaigns, and other digital projects based on client requirements; build and animate web banners; maintain existing websites built in HTML and WordPress.
  4. Develop custom themes, child themes, and related functionalities for WordPress.
  5. Participate in the WordPress community and contribute to the future development of WordPress and content management.
  6. Collaborate with internal clients to assess needs and develop themes, child themes, and functionalities.
  7. Proficiently use code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Understand accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x).
  • Create UI mockups and prototypes.
  • Understand WordPress structures like Custom Post Types and Taxonomies.
  • Translate designs (PSD, AI, Sketch) into functional web interfaces.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and in diverse, fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred; and 3-6 years of relevant experience in programming and marketing modalities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
