The Division

PYXiS Software Group, part of the Jonas Operating Group of Constellation Software, manages 28 software companies across 10 vertical markets worldwide.

The Position

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The role involves working closely with the Hiring Manager to create and analyze financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and taxes. Candidates should have an Accounting degree and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP software. The primary goal is to accurately record all daily financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and post within GP
• Post invoice batches and ensure correct deferrals in GP
• Review AR aging reports, assist with doubtful accounts, send AR statements, and follow up on payments
• Process customer credits, memos, cash receipts, and apply to invoices
• Coordinate and prepare customer invoices, reconcile monthly activities
• Manage support documents related to invoices
• Assist in reconciling AR accounts and other related accounts
• Assist with sales tax compliance and other tax-related tasks
• Prepare internal financial statements and reports, including bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and journal entries
• Process accounts payable and analyze invoices for correct coding
• Identify inter-company differences and prepare related journals
• Prepare foreign exchange and transfer pricing journals
• Generate reports from GP for various analyses
• Assist in balance sheet reconciliations and revenue analysis
• Support quarterly disclosure reporting and process improvements
• Undertake special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed

Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Understanding of bookkeeping and accounts receivable/payable principles
• Ability to manage accounting figures and records accurately
• Data entry skills and proficiency with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and MS Excel
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• BS in Finance and Accounting or a professional Accounting qualification (finalist or completed)
